The history of the Grupo Diretriz, represented by the companies Diretriz Empreendimentos S/A and Diretriz Feiras e Eventos, started in 1967, with the promotion of 1st. Paraná State Industry and Commerce Fair (Fecip), at Castelo Branco Park. In 1975 it was responsible for the construction of the Centro de Exposição de Curitiba (Curitiba's Exhibition Center) at Barigui Park, it was a progressive architectural project, whose construction was inspired in the European architecture.

The Grupo Diretriz accomplished, in its 40 years of history, more than 500 events in important capitals of Brazil, as São Paulo, Curitiba, Porto Alegre and Florianopolis. The Grupo Diretriz is very proud of having offered in 4 decades of history, the meeting between millions of businessman and clients, and in this way could create instruments for the generation of innumerable business, inclusive exportations, and mainly, acting as a bridge in the creation of good and long term partnerships.
